Welcome to LingoSpree (accessible at lingospree.com). LingoSpree is dedicated to making German language education (CEFR Levels A1, A2, and B1) open, practical, and universally accessible for students, expats, and language enthusiasts worldwide.
All your personal learning progress, daily streak counters, quiz scores, and SRS flashcard intervals are securely stored directly on your personal device via modern browser Web Storage (localStorage).
2. Information We Collect and Process
We believe in minimal data collection. The categories of data we process include:
- Local Learning Data: Vocabulary cards mastered, active study streak, total XP gained, daily goals, and practice quiz scores. This data remains strictly in your browser and is never uploaded or sold to third-party data brokers.
- Anonymous Technical Information: Standard server logs, including browser type, operating system version, screen resolution, referral URL, and timestamps. This technical telemetry is used exclusively to ensure site stability, CDN speed, and security against automated denial-of-service attacks.
- Optional Voice & Audio Input: When you practice German pronunciation with Herr Schmidt or the microphone speaking simulator, your voice is transcribed using standard Web Speech APIs. Audio buffers are processed locally or transiently for speech-to-text conversion and are never archived or used to train public models.

To fund our high-speed server infrastructure, audio generation, and continuous curriculum development without charging subscription fees, LingoSpree displays non-intrusive advertisements served by Google AdSense and verified partner networks.

- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to LingoSpree and/or other sites on the Internet.
